I've read Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and part of Mein Kampf, and am now reading Speer's Inside the Third Reich. I'm quite familiar with what happened to German war criminals. I'm much less familiar with the Japanese and Italians. What happened to war criminals from these Axis nations? There were lots of them from Japan.

Here's a little primer to get you started:
Japanese war crimes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Japanese War Crimes Trials 1946-1948 - World War II Multimedia Database

Japanese War Crime Trials » HistoryNet

Japanese war criminals hanged in Tokyo — History.com This Day in History — 12/23/1948

Unit 731 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That should give you a pretty good basis for an informed opinion.

If that's not enough I just found and added to my bookmarks;

HyperWar: International Military Tribunal for the Far East [Chapter 8]

Happiness is nice but it can't buy money.

So what? The Japan become west countries ally now. even though they hate Japan.

many Asian countries think as Japan empire are Asia Hero,

I'd like to see some sources supporting the statements above. From what I've read and people I've talked to they seem to be at least a bit off the mark.
