I was at the NARA II on Friday and Saturday and requested
the boxes for the General Orders of HQ, 6th Infantry Division,
    and HQ, 63rd Infantry Regiment.

I confirmed that most of the 63rd GOs for 1944 and 1945 were lost.

At least 11 were issued in 1944; only six exist at College Park.
In 1945, at least 54 were issued, but only 8 survive.

I made paper copies of all that I found in the folders.

Of the 71 GOs issued by HQ, 6th Infantry Division, in 1944,
    nineteen are missing.

HQ, 6th, issued 246 GOs in 1945. I did not have time to
confirm how many, if any, are missing.

Hi Dave, how are you? I found this post you did back in 2011 as I was researching a 6th Division Silver Star Grouping and I'm wondering if you have General Order No. 59 issued by HQ 6th Infantry Division for 1945. The Officer's name is Isadore E. Goldberg and he was the Battalion Surgeon for that unit. Hope that you're still active on this forum and looking forward to hearing from you.
