    Hello Folks,

On the off chance!! Was your Dad or Grand-Dad in the RAF 1940-1945 shot down and end the war as a POW.
Do you ever recollect your Dad or Grand-Dad mention, Stalug Luft 6 (V1) Heydekrug, or Fallingbostel

My Partner’s Dad (Allenby MacLennan. Nav. RAF) is 91 years of age and I mentioned a book “Not All Glory” (RAF POWs and their stories) in the hope he would talk about his experience as a POW…

I would love to do some research on this subject. I do not wish to ask Allenby questions about his experiences as a POW as it upsets him to re-call this period of history. He once said to me, “If I talk about the war, people may think I’m boasting”

    Your input would be appreciated.
