I'll say they're not perfect (actually, it's just the Hasidic minority). To even remotely suggest that Hilary Clinton might be "sexually suggestive" is pretty hilarious. She may be many things, but I don't think that's one of them.

It also seems to be a violation of Israeli law.

I wonder if those Hillary Clinton nutcrackers are outlawed over there? :)

lol. Lou... Read she was suppressing a cough in the original photo. To me it may have been an expression of horror. Wonder if they were watching real time via the SEAL's helmet cam. That picture of everyone in the room, will prolly be remembered as a famous historical picture of our time.

According to a brief report I heard, they were NOT watching real-time video from the helmet cams. I think it was just audio updates.

As for Clinton, she wasn't sure when the picture was taken, and it could have been a cough, but I think she was being coy about it.

The video didn't come in on "real time" from the raid in the building, the audio was transferred to the D.C. monitor by those in the choppers outside the building itself. The video they took in the building was later uploaded and transmitted to D.C. but it wasn't "live". And I don't know why her covering her mouth, for whatever reason is even a question. If it was a cough, so what. If it was dismay, so what. Both are perfectly natural reactions in their own way.

From that picture, there may have been a couple odd looks on the faces of those present. Pictures speak more than the words used to caption it. If it was a cough, no biggie. I'd say people who cough into their hand usually close their eyes.. Maybe it was an expression of horror which was mirrored by the emotions on other faces watching the same thing....

Yes, that is what I've seen and read as well. However the "helmet cams" recorded but did NOT broadcast to an uplink so that they could be viewed in "real time" back in DC. They were recorded and stored for later evaluation, not broadcast "as it happened". What was going on in the "ready room" was audio feeds from the outside chopper persons, and audio links to those inside. No visuals as I understand it.

Yes, they said it wasn't real time video. What was everyone looking at in the "picture" if only audio was playing. They all seemed to be looking at the same thing. ...To me they were viewing something very intense. ..They forgot they were being photographed, and displayed genuine emotion. Audio can cause emotion, but wouldn't think everyone would look at the speaker playing the audio. ...Just trying to analyze the information I have available. That was an important event.

Why it was Hilary gasping, and no one else:

As a mother, she was taken aback by what was found there-women-children-lots of children-squalid conditions.

Poppy, I think what they were "seeing" was what was being uplinked from the chopper sitting in the compound exterior, i.e. the "yard", and the audio was from the interior, complete with "flash bangs", gunfire, and shouts. Just a guess on my part, but that is sort of what I have deduced from the various reports which have been released.

I've noticed that many of the News sources state; " as the operation was unfolding ", whereas the official photo caption reads; "receive an update on the mission ....". The photo most likely (?) was taken as they watched the actual video after receiving the download. Just my take since they all seem to be looking directly at the same spot, which appears an optimum position for a monitor.

That is not entirely out of the realm of possibility since the "helmet cams" of the SEAL team were digitally recorded and are now in the physical possession of the American government. Discussions are being held as to whether or not to release some of them along with selected "postmortem" pics of bin Laden. Those digital recording might very well have been "uplinked" to the Situation Room while that photo was taken.

    "she was suppressing a cough"
And here we have evidence hillary has been sick for a long time...Love reading these old posts, sometimes hitting on nerves we couldn't know- would become sensitive after time.
    Brndirt1 still speaks.

Could they have been watching a direct satellite feed? They have sats that can give you a pretty close up look at any spot on earth.

Still think they were watching a soldiers body cam real time or shortly after the deed....hillary put her hand over her mouth and kind of recoiled in her seat. Everyone was totally focused on the monitor screen, totally oblivious to their picture being taken.
There wasn't much horror outside, body cams wouldn't pick up gruesome detail from outside distances.
I think it was a soldier inside the building taking out BL. Close and personal.

From what we know, it could have been the chopper getting damaged that brought the reaction...
