won last night with a home run, to advance to the US Championship on Sunday. I'm very proud, and both teams played well and with sportsmanship. Congrats Big Sky All-Stars!

Since the home state team has been vanquished, I hope the Big Sky All-Stars triumph on Saturday against CA. http://blog.pennlive.com/patriotnewssports/2011/08/little_league_world_series_dre.html Dave
I see the officials are postponing and/or cancelling some of the matches due to Irene's influence. Of course a great number of other sporting events are being cancelled or move to different venues as well as precautions to both players and fans.
Alas, it will be a championship game between Pacific titans, Japan and Ocean View. Ocean View defeated the Big Sky All Stars today 11-2 to advance to tomorrow's final game in the Little League World Series. Ocean View advances to Little League World Series championship - latimes.com Dave
Yupper, that was quite a thumping. But just getting to the big show for LL teams was a novelty for this little berg. Great games guys, too bad they are cancelling the "consolation" games. But being second best in the whole US isn't all that bad a deal.
Excellent group of super human kids you managed to create there in Montana ( pop 1,000) Herr BD1. Your work since "retiring from the Army" has been sterling. ...By the way, when is my Liger coming?
