Hi, i just found this forum. I came up with the name sabanist because i thought it was an interesting spin on coach nick saban and how much he is respected, plus its a pun on religion. Not that im a satanist but i thought sabanist was pretty funny. Im originally from alabama although now i live in florida. Im a combat veteran from the iraq war and former army officer. Im an adventurist and enjoy scuba diving and visiting historical sites. My main reason for joining the thread is because i hope i can be referred to some interesting and accurate resources for research.

Hi Sabanist. We allow Alabamans (even displaced ones) on this site. There's plenty to see, so dive in. There are many who can point you in the right direction for research.

Ain't met anybody 'Bama Bound that didn't have to go through Hell or Atlanta.

BTW, check my sig for sources. A modest start can be found there.

Welcome aboard, Sabanist. As I am writing this, Opana Pointer's post count is at 3,666. I wonder if that means anything.

Freedom is precious and many gave their lives for it. It is the duty of the future generation
to remember that sacrifice, and offer some sacrifice for themselves if Freedom is threatened.

Do you have a mullet too? Ole Nicodemus ain't that well respected outside of some parts of Alabama you know. He'll be pulling up and going to Dallas before long anyway. Regardless, welcome to the forum, and enjoy your stay here. You might learn a few things, who knows.
