My Uncle mentioned to me recently that my Dad , Capt H.F. Stearns ,Jr 504th MP BN,CO A was part of a group of 12 officers selected by Eisenhower for amphibious training and beach landings . He participated in the Sicily and Anzio D-Day landings. Does anyone have any knowledge of this group .Thanks, wyo333
