I recall when we reached 100,000 postings. Since then things have at times advanced mighty rapidly. I am proud too say we are some 40 postings short of passing 500,000 postings´line... Congrats WW2Forums! And Thanx Otto for making this site! And all the great guys here helping it develope into a wonderful site to share WW2 knowledge and militaria etc.

Yeth Thir urgh, I was watching the posting ballets and your (as usual) gleaming despondency comment in the Sir Arthur Harris thread pushed us all over the edge. As often happens. Umm, "respondent comment" not despondent. Not much difference. I got your back my friend. Speaking of which, next time the shears are out you might give a thought to that also. I've a call in to a person who may be able to provide a very special award type thing for your now vaulted status. Some may say lock him up but not me.
Has anyone else noticed THIS? Stolen from the signature line of, well Guess ! "Holder of the 500,000 post....unasuming, magnaminous, and quite good looking."
Actually I think he has conducted himself quite well. Of course that may be due to the "lambing" going on and his lack of time to put forth his thoughts here.
I'd like to see proof of that particular landmark. Otherwise it didna happen, and I claim the mark for myself. To officially be recognized in the annals of history.... There must be proof, right? Maybe a hospital in Hawaii with his birth records. Or a graph of some sort. Just something to show us (the losers), he actually hit that mark. But seriously, it's a real swell site. Kudos.
I was kind of keeping an eye on the countdown to the big 500,000th (not much going on and I was bored), six minutes after I edited post #4 to say the next post would be the 1/2 million mark urgh posted (at 11:32am), in the Sir Author Harris thread. So the next post after I edited my post at 11:26am, was the ... hey wait a minute. I , I , Good Grief !!
Sir urqh? No, that just doesn't work. Duke urqh maybe, but not sir. Count urqh? Naw. Lord urqh? Nope. What other titles would be fitting for out half-millionth poster? The urqhmeister? Now that has potential I believe!
