I was going through some of my grandfathers things and I found a bunch of photos and I found these and I was wondering what is it?

This is a M8 (A1?) SPG with a 75mm Howitzer. For the date of introduction it to the troops it must be between late 42 to 45.

it makes me think of a civilian who posed with the tank crew during a break . I suppose one of the crew (or the civilian, except on the one we see him) wanted pictures and asked the civilian for a picture and took a picture of him in return . This could be in France , Belgium or Holland.
