1926 October 31 failed attempt on Mussolini

Mussolini suffered so many "terrorist" attacks during his career. Four before this in october 1926.

What would had happened if the 15 years old boy had deathly hit the Duce? At that moment Italy didn´t have invaded Ethiopya , neither Albania , there is still no SCW , it seems a good moment to kill him. Wasn´t it? I 've no ide where to put this post in the "alternative history" ... other way I'm far more interested in remember this poor boy ... what did he heard at home to do that ? His father recognized his son an hour after the attack on police station he was looking for ... The kid did this stupidity on his own initiative. Very sad.

Good point, I assumed that the carabine was a hunting gun, very common in the south's Italy rural environment (Like my homelamd) ... The italian wiki wrote that his family nicknamed him "the potato" , it seems because of his low intelligence ... he has a taciturn and solitary nature ... His pather an his aunt were comdemned to 30 years prison, for having influenced the young man in his choices ... Mussolini paroled them few years later.
