I made a fast calculation through the tournament map:

1. Spain
2. Germany
3. Netherlands
4. France

If England is the runner-up and Spain wins its Group then in the first knockout stage it´s Spain vs England....

Italy might make it better than the QF stage but I think the corruption scandal might have its effect if even Buffon is being on the list...

My heart tells my Poland but common sense Germany. But I can dream.

 

I'm liking the Netherlands today against Denmark, and Germany over Portugal. Agree or disagree?

 

Best not to win, bad omens - Greece 2004 (bankrupt), Spain 2008 (bankrupt banks). Another reason to hope Germany does not win - we would all be bankrupt then.

 

Than i would say lets reach Germany the 3rd place, that leaves enough security distance to the dangerous 1st place.

 

I don't care about football but SWMBO does, her heart beats for Spain! I guess will be alone with the kids quite a few evenings in the weekks to come when she's off to the public viewing!
