    A very competent commander and an early supporter of Hitler, I wonder if he would have made the same mistakes the Paulus did, mainly not clearing the bridgeheads and wasting his troops in assaults on Stalingrad. Reichenau may even have convinced Hitler to not detach the Pzrs allowing an earlier seizure of Stalingrad.
