A video about the development of the Jeep during WW2, it describes the designing of the Jeep to meet military needs of being compact, light weight and maneuverable over rough terrain.

Over on WheelsTV internet there is wonderful seven part (all too short for my taste) run-down on the famous Jeep. The whole thing is called 'Unstoppable Soldier", and as I said there are seven chapters. Sadly one has to sort through them since they don't simply run from one to another. That sucks, but the chapters are great and they don't really have to be done in order.
