Here is a list of films and television productions directly concerned with the creation and delivery of the Atomic bomb.

    How do you rate them?

The Begining Of The End (1947) - The research, development, and deployment of the first atomic bomb, as well as the bombing of Hiroshima.

Above And Beyond (1952) - Story of Col. Paul Tibbetts, the man who piloted the plane that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima in World War 2

Oppenheimer (1980) - Biography of the American physicist who led the U.S. effort to develop the atomic bomb during World War II, only to find himself suspected as a security risk in the 1950s because of his increasing ambivalence about the effect of his life's work.

Enola Gay, The Men The Mission Tha Atomic Bomb (1980) - The decision to drop the atom bomb, the secrecy surrounding the mission, and the men who flew it.

Race For The Bomb (1987) - A dramatization of the Manhattan Project, which produced the atomic bomb at the close of World War Two. This series follows the development of the project, from Leo Szilard's first conception of the power within the atom, to the power struggles between J. Robert Oppenheimer, the project's science leader, and General Leslie Groves, the project's military commander.

Day One (1989) - TV Movie about the creation and use of the atomic bomb in World war 2.

Fat Man And Little Boy (1989) - This film reenacts the Manhattan Project, the secret wartime project in New Mexico where the first atomic bombs were designed and built.

Hiroshima (1995) - Harry Truman, the successor to the Oval Office after the late President Rosevelt, is plagued with the decisions of war that could save or cost a thousand lives. He is then confronted with the nuclear weapons project.

Infinity (1996) - Story of the early life of genius and Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman. His studies and the war lead him to Los Alamos to work on the Manhattan Project.

Copenhagen (2002) - the meeting between physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg in 1941 Copenhagen. At this time the young Heisenberg was leading a faltering German research program into nuclear energy, while the middle-aged and apparently isolated Bohr was in contact with allied agents, and still held a position of great influence in the nuclear physics research community.

Breaking The Chain (2009) - In 1939, physicist Leo Szilard must convince his colleagues at Columbia University to keep their nuclear research secret and protect the world from atomic weapons.

Shadow Makers is called "Fat Man and Little Boy" in North America. Where are you from phylo? What did you think of it as compared to some of the others?
