Final Payment Work Sheet

I'm trying to decipher everything on my Great Grandfather's Final Payment Work Sheet from his discharge in 1945. There are a few things that I either can't read well enough or just can't figure out. The two main things being the "Army Component" section at the top of the page and the following listed near his name, serial number, and grade. It says "ASF F W M 5-7 1239-5". Anyone have any idea what this means? Take a look at the "Army Component" also and see if you can figure it out. I would appreciate the help. Thanks!
