    It concerned me that the Canadian Lancaster few to the UK, I presume the Gander, Iceland, Ireland route, because of it's extreme rarity but I cannot imagine a finer sight than to see the pair together. Can you imagine what hundreds were like ?

    Just mighty. Having heard and seen one during a fly past, I know what it is to be overwhelmed by the powerful noise of the Rolls-Royce Merlins.
