    it looks in great condition. Is the code number identified?

    I believe that the exact airframe is unidentified as yet - although as it's an early, Merlin-engined Halifax it's most likely from the 1942 raids, and will be very similar to the Halifax recovered from Lake Hoklingen, Norway in 1973 and now on display at the RAF Museum, Hendon.

    Yes, the Tirpitz raids have to be confirmed though
