It's in my top five. It's drawn from a number of sources (as identified by you), so it's probably as close as anyone will ever get to the reality of that historic event. Not only the sources, but the uniforms, weapons and so on are meticulously recreated as it really was.
And mine, too. A movie which manages to be entertaining, intelligent and ( IMPO ) realistic. We've discussed it on this Forum many times - I still recommend the 'special edition' DVD which contains some interesting interviews with cast and crew.
