Many members of this forum are probably familiar with the HQ Twelfth Army Group Situation Maps available online from the Library of Congress (as well as a few other places on the Internet). The maps are a great resource, but frankly, downloading 417 maps one at a time is maddening. It took some time, but I downloaded all the maps and renumbered them so they line up in chronological order.

I will gladly send the entire collection via the ftp site www.wetransfer.com to anyone who wants the collection. Each map is 5-6 MB and the entire collection is 1.91 GB.

I have attached a low-res, low-quality example of one of the maps.

Note: I have posted this topic to WW2 Talk as well.

    Regards,
    Marc

What format are the files? I have them in .djvu format. I had started converting them to .jpg but I was too much trouble because there were so many.

Ah! English! Our common divide! I should have realized that. :listen:

To send the maps I need an email address for the ftp site to provide the download link. People can either PM me or go to my webpage and use the contact form - digitalhistoryarchive@verizon.net

    Regards,
    Marc

I apologize, Marc, for the misunderstanding. As Skipper correctly mentioned, I would be happy (and grateful) to have copies of those maps. I'll be sending my email address to you a bit later with many thanks!
