    Hi pals

On behalf of a friend who is researching Derbyshire Memorials, can anyone let me know anything about the war service of this Officer, especially where his Regt. was engaged in at the time of his death and any details of the action.

CWGC Records show he died on the 4 April 1944 and is buried in Imphal Cemetery, India.

Many thanks for looking - I know this is a bit vague but my research has been in WW1 so am a bit ignorant of WW2 actions.

It helps if you post the CWGC link as I can't find him. Have you spelt his name wrong?
