My Father In Law, Ronald Harry Kemsley told me he "did all the recording of the Nuremburg Trials".
I believe he meant that he was in charge or heavily involved in the technical aspect of the recording. He said "I heard every word...people would be staggered if they heard it all"...comment to me 1982. "I still get the secrecy list and what has come off to"...that comment related to his all of his WW2 work.

He was an Englishman who had worked on special projects (technical/electronic) in the USA during part of the war but never told us what that work was. He did tell me of the big computor that was developed & I suspect he had some involvement. His acceptance into the project was after passing an 8 hr 8 question examination on Electronic/radio questions.."i went to the examiner at 9 oclock and said I had completed...you cant have, there are 8 questions...yes I have done them all...one of the questions, a Phillips design was designed by me when I worked at Philips, and have worked on design of several of the others"

From D-Day on, he "did the communications for Eisenhour" and was on site at SHAEF field HQ during that time. "I was able to fly home to London for the weekends"...

His Family would dearly like to know what he actually did, especially what was the USA project/s. 3 daughters never asked, Son in laws never pushed.

Can anyone suggest where we can find out about him, does his name get mentioned with these Nuremburg recordings?

His field was Electrical Engineering before & after the war.A very quiet spoken & modest man and was not the type to talk about anything he had done.

He was not in the Military thru this time but was removed from military at about the time he signed up, to do this work. How do we track a mans War effort when he was seemingly not in the military?

From what he told me but at the end of the war had the use of an Ammerican jeep for about 2 years as he travelled around Europe. When I asked what he did for money..."the Americans deposited a substantial amount of money into my account at the end of the war...I used to fill up with petrol at US facilities"...

    any response to mikeeggersltd@icloud.com
