Always. Everytime I go into it, computer locks up, and have to control alt delete out of it.
Then log in again etc etc.
Requesting admin looks at this, as it really diminishes quality time here.
Used to be my favourite place to go.

It's just the sheer volume of Youtube videos, Poppy.
I run a pretty powerful PC on a monster fast Internet connection, but it still sometimes goes porridgey on threads like that. Not a lot can be done about it other than sit and wait for load I'm afraid.
Some browsers might handle it faster, but I doubt it.

I can actually watch entire concerts without falling in the poridge. Could it be a slow internet connexion?

    Somewhat OT but ...
Cntrl-shift-esc is faster. It brings up task manager directly.

In regards to the thread it may be related to extension/aps/etc you've added to your browser. Some of them can be pretty intense.

Single large videos, no problems as the point of streaming is to allow data to flow in bite-size bits.
Problem on pages like that thread is the number of videos opening from one site at the same time, particularly if a page is nearly at the full number of posts. It slows the site server, slows flash, and slows pooters opening it. Gallon into a pint pot.

Updating flash might help. Might. For a bit...

It's Canadian electricity, they are still using DC and computers get balky on it.

Actually, little gophers on treadmills...We talk via soup cans and string, which has caused more than 1 accident.
