During the past two years I have had a fascination with broadcasting, journalism and reporting. Lately I have developed an interest in the history of reporting during the Second World War. I have looked many places for a book on that topic but all I keep finding is books that have stories written by reporters such as William L. Shiver, Ernie Pyle, Edward R. Murrow. I cannot find a book or articles or websites dedicated to the 'general history of reporting the war.' Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find books on this subject? Thank you! :)

I have a friend getting his doctorate in the history of journalism. I'll see if he has any good sources.
