Here as ordered! Here is a little about me, I'm in my early teens and I love history. Especially WW2 and WW1. I've had an interest in these monumental and tragic events since I was quite young. I strengthened it by reading and playing games about it, now having a very insatiable interest in the subject. I won't say I'm on expert though I like to think I know a bit. My favourite theatre of war is in Europe, more accurately the Eastern Front. Sadly not a lot of people really know the brutality and the importance of that front, the losses. Being a Russian and grandson/great-grandson to those who lived and, for my great grandad died in the war. I also enjoy alternate history, especially in... well guess where? WW2! Which is why I like Harry Turtledove's books. I hope to create many different alternate history threads. So... a little about me.
Thank you, though I'm going to have to take that with sceptisicm. Ending with a non-commital ... rarely means actual welcoming.
First, I'll say welcome also. As for CAC, he's a standup dude and if he say's welcome, that's what he means. This is a very, new member friendly forum. Ask questions, debate, even hotly, provide your thoughts and share your knowledge, just remain respectful of others and avoid personal attacks and you'll have a long, educational, enjoyable time here.
The excessive use of... ellipses is... well... always suspicious... Welcome to the Forum, Major Davies.
Didn't even know that's what they were called...ellipses...just flow dots to me...write like I think...bit of autism I think...and thanks USMCPrice, that's something coming from you...
You just never know what little bit of knowledge you will pick up here. And I agree with you CAC. One cannot do much better than a compliment from USMCPrice.
I've been around long enough to identify the stand up guys, you're another of that select group TD-Tommy.
