Hey everyone, My grandfather was a WW2 Vet and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about his experiences. I've always looked up to him but since researching more about his career I've become obsessed with WW2! Just following the questionnaire, my name is Jeff Harmon, I came up with my member name because of the pride I have in being a Harmon! I'm 38, been interested in WW2 for a couple years but have just recently gone over the top with watching as much as I can on tv and online. I'm from Limington, Maine but now live in New Jersey and work in NYC as a photographer. I'm interested in all aspects of WW2, but would love to get as much info as possible regarding the 617th Air Control and Warning Squadron at Fort Shafter in Hawaii, as that was where my grandfather was stationed, P.F.C. Edward P. Harmon. My hobbies are photography, tattoos (specifically American Traditional. I recently got one in memory of Grandpa, I'll try to post it somewhere on here!) I went to the WW2 Air show/ reenactment in Reading, PA this summer and would love to attend more events like that. Can't wait to read the forums and learn from everyone on here. Thanks for reading my novel! Jeff
