Wow. Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio SCC, very entertaining. Lots of passing and three abreast racing. That is an exciting legue...Why can't F1 be as nearly entertaining- speeds too high- maybe cars too valuable to risk in a crash? While we are at it, doping seems to be a real issue regarding high performance athletes. Are drivers also cheating by using some enhancing drugs...Triple lattes maybe.
Australia's V8 Super cars...are....changing. For years it's been Holden (Chevrolet) vs Ford...The Holden Commodore Vs the Ford Falcon.... Now the last Commodire and last Falcons are being made...will be racing Amercian cars now...probably adding Mercedes and Toyota...end of an Era...
The Falcon, and others- Mad Max, Fury Road: http://www.gamespot.com/gallery/the-cars-of-mad-max-fury-road-ranked-from-wild-to-/2900-141/
Upon reflection, in spite of all the rules intended to make Indy more competitive (tires, Pushto pass, etc)- it seemed like there was a deliberate crash in order to bring out the yellow flag. Which enabled his teamate to access the pitt stop before it was closed. ..What a coincidence...Subsequently, with 2 races remaining, the point race is down to 9...Was very entertaining. Can see how these guys might brawl with helmets on.
