    Hi Richard

What makes you say that is his unit? I only ask as the Royal Marines and HAA (Heavy Anti-Aircraft) Regiment don't really go together. The later would be Royal Artillery.

Do you know what MNBDO stands for?

    Cheers
    Andy

Welcome Richard. I can't really answer your question since I'm on the wrong side of the pond. However, you might request his information from the MOD. You can read through this site
    http://www.ww2f.com/topic/26956-requesting-uk-service-records/
It will provide the steps you need to follow.. Also I would suggest that you register and post your query at our sister site ww2talk.com. It has a much more British and continental view than we do.
    Good luck.
