I'm a new member and working on a family history book. Not finding much on the 570th AAA, AW, SP, was hoping others could help. During training at Camp Edwards in spring of 43, my Dad was with the 110th AAA Gun BN, Mobile, but before going to Europe he was transferred to the 570th AAA, Automatic Weapons (AW) Bn, Self Propelled (SP). Looking for information on the weapons the unit used and where in Europe they served. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sawicki however I've never read them myself so I cannot tell you how detailed the books are.
These links may be useful for back ground info if you haven't already found them: http://www.skylighters.org/history/coastart/ http://www.skylighters.org/otheraaa/ and I found this one quite interesting especially if you want to know about their actions in the ETO http://www.skylighters.org/hammer/ Looks like they are all part of the same site you might find more of interest pokeing around there if you haven't already found the site.
