Some talk on morning news they thought overall planner thought to be Syria was hold up, but no confirmation.
It would be nice if they got him in this raid but as you say no confirmations. From what I got 2 dead terrorist and a number captured along with 5 injured police. Lots of gunfire and one of the dead was due to a suicide vest detonation. Haven't heard of any bystander casualties which is very good. Again I hope none of the police injuries were serius and they all make complete recoveries. I'd ask for names but that might not be a good idea. I'd like to honor our heros but certainly don't want to put them or theirs at risk. Also sounds like the French police informed the Germans of an attack in Hanover which was averted.
One forgotten casualty is the German shepherd that got killed while neutrlalizing suspects. One man was shot, a woman blew herself up . a total of 7 suspects were arrested (including the landlord) . http://actu.orange.fr/video/france/attentats-paris/assaut-au-coeur-de-saint-denis-apres-les-attentats-deux-morts-et-sept-interpellations-afp_CNT000000fuUXR.html
We're not getting much in the way of details over here but it sounds like some very impressive work on the part of French police and intel people.
Just read this from a foreign policy newsletter: " One French police dog was killed in the operation, and five French police officers were mildly injured." Very good news about the officers.
from my reading, sounded like the terrorists were a ''standard' family.....also the renter ''knew nothing''.....ala Sergeant Schultz...also. this seems like it wasn't a small operation, obviously.......many more people involved, of course......appears to be bigger than many previous attacks....and widespread..what does this tell you?
At this stage I would expect the French to be questioning anyone who might have the slightest connection to the events. I suspect it will be a while before many details are released to the public. Indeed I'm kind of surprised at how much has come out already. Eventually there should be a pretty complete picture but again I suspect some details will remain behind the scenes.
Nothing special : the intervention of 8 terrorists is only possible by the logistical support of 80 accomplices . We have here a sleeping cell of 90 persons and there are thousands of such cells in Europe .
Here is a picture of the shield police used to evacuate some injured from the music hall. Apparently it weighs about 400lbs and is on wheels. Looks like there about 15 AK47 bullet marks on it. http://imgur.com/SvndZ7G

Daily Mirror 16 november 2015 21.08 Hundreds of ISIS sleeper cells set up across Europe-including Britain .
you would have to be naive to think there are not many sleeper cells in the US and Europe....yes they had accomplices, logistical support, etc...who do you think did the driving?.......the so called ''mastermind'' was logistical and planning support..... this quote about the raid on the terrorists nest ''' Another jihadi's body was found riddled with bullets when more than 100 armed officers stormed the flat in Saint-Denis believing Abaaoud was inside with six other terrorists, including Salah Abdeslam.''' bold and italics mine hey Poppy, can you imagine holding that as rounds are hitting??
Even Madam Liberal (= Diane Feinstein ) had to admit that there were sleeper cells in the US,but,of course, she refused to draw the conclusions .
