Hello everyone. I have been interested in WWII since I was a little boy and I am always interested in learning more. My preferences are predominantly the European campaigns. I have been reading books such as DDay, Stalingrad, Berlin & about to finish Ardennes all by Antony Beevor. I have joined this forum as I hoped to be recommended by other users as to what are the best books to purchase about specific battles/campaigns. I am keen to learn about Dieppe but unsure as to what book is the best to purchase. Can anyone give a recommendation?
Welcome Aboard Bones! Check out our Book Review sub forum for reading Ideas. Next look into our Dieppe threads for specific recommendations as many rogues will often cite books and publications on point to the debate..
Howdy Bones. Reading is a good thing, you learn so much more than watching TV shows about the subject.
Hi Bones. Welcome to a fine place. I'll echo others in saying reading is good, but I'm warning you the more you read, the more there is to read. There are many book suggestions in our reviews section and it would be a good idea to read through some of the threads. Have fun.
Welcome Bones, glad to have you. Please let us know what book you chose, and maybe what you thought of it afterward as well.
