I have most of those original issues boxed away in an upstairs closet. Along with the war year issues of Popular Mechanics and National Geographic.

    Very nice. Thanks

Does anyone have any tips for how to make the magazine pages fill all of the computer screen so that a lot of real estate isn't taken up with the google header and other menu bars?

I've pressed the full screen icon but that still leaves a lot of wasted screen area.

wow, i grew up reading back issues of PS and PM as early as the the 40s. i loved the science and military articles. one thing i didn't appreciate as a boy was all those career advancement ads: anything from diesel trading to accident investigation. now i'm starting to put it in the right perspective, with the boom in the US economy after the war, and several young men seeking additional skills to "sink" back into civilian life.

I think Clint (brndirt1) mentioned this years ago, but it's always good to be reminded.

PS I remembered to Bookmark this. :)
