I was taught about this at school. This is how I learnt how to distinguish facts from nonsense.

Oh, well, they never taught that to me (in England), honestly, when I saw A True History of The United States... It made a lot of sense given that I already suspected wars being fought over nothing more than trade deals.
My particular school taught me English History and The Civil Rights Movement in America, at my school.
Also, it taught me about slavery in America and the US Civil War... I was 13,14...Had to get this permission slip filled out to watch a movie rated 15 in class; Glory (1989); So I remember learning all about the 54th Massachusetts...
No mention of what this video had to say in my class though.

You mean; Understand there are other factors that lead to war?

The thing I found interesting about this video was; it connected the dots from the American Civil War to WWI.
So now I believe this whole thing was to stop a railway being built connecting the world. WWI which then lead to WWII which then lead to The Cold War.

Don't get me started on pipelines in the Middle East being owned by Bush & Co...
I haven't quite found an aluminum hat cool enough yet. (Maybe if I had one shaped like Slash's Top Hat)? - That'll be sweet.

Did they mention slavery was banned in most of the US a generation before it was banned in the British Commonwealth? At any rate, I don't watch movies longer than 90 minutes unless they have boobies.
