fraudulent report

    someone reported this website to Microsoft as a threat and now I have to give permission everytime
    I want to visit it, including every page change. I reported it as safe, but obviously it hasn't helped can some one contact Microsoft to get this changed

    What Browser?

    Firefox has given me no problems, and I can access the site from Bing with no alerts.

    Strange. I also use Firefox and have had no issues accessing the site. I go to it directly without using a search engine.

    Yeah, I have us as my first bookmark. But Bing is the Microsoft search engine, so if MS is going to flag it, it should be flagged in their search engine. But, I got nothing using Bing.

    I am on Chrome and have MSN as my homepage. Use Google and Bing to search .WW2 works normally, no warnings or notifications.

    Had the same problem using Edge on Windows 10. The problem went away after switching to Firefox.

    I beiieve it's a firewall problem. Changing settings could help , including adding this site as a save one in a filter, or use another search engine.

    Both some browser and the antivirus do independent "reputation checks", search engines (Bing, Google) do that as well, not sure about Windows 10 but t might too. So unless we know the exact setup it may be hard to reproduce.
    Current "reputation analysis" technology is plagued with false alarms, most sites survive by embedding ads they have no control on, so when you get an URL to bad code in a page determining where it's actually from is tough.

    Otto is out of the country refereeing an MMA tournament. He knows about the alert generated by MS.

    He assures everyone that the finding is inaccurate; our own AV shows us clean, the forum is current with patches, and our important customer, Google (who directs searches to us) shows us clean.

    Thanks to steverodgers801 for giving us this warning, it's always good to be ahead of a problem if it exists. In this case all reputable malware scanners give us a clean bill of health.

    There was a recent update to Microsoft SmartScreen Malware software. I turned off the notices and the problem was resolved

    it popped up again try doing safe advisor. tried adding it in options wont let me since its not the right prefix

    Yep, MS Edge flagged it.

    Sent an I think this website is safe - for all the good it will do.

    Steve...Download a real Internet Browser like Firefox or Chrome.
