What was your job and or assignment?
Were you awarded any medals or citations?
    Why did you join?
Why did you pick the service branch you joined?
Did you keep a personal diary?
Do you recall any particularly humorous or unusual event?
Did you feel a lot pressure or stress?
Were there many casualties in your unit?
Did you join a veterans organization?
How did your service and experiences affect your life?

I'm getting the impression it's the same person asking the questions under different names.

Alternately it could be a teacher listed this forum as one worth investigating for the assignment.

Good point, but now we're having several requests which are all a pasted copy .

It does not even mention a so called introduction.

I would think that a teacher would recommend making a few phone calls to local retirement communities or retirement homes. Explain to the staff there that you are a student doing a history assignment, and that if the staff could make some inquiries with any resident WW2 veterans to ask if they would like to participate in said assignment.

But this option involves time and effort, so most students will avoid it like the plague...Choosing instead to go phishing on the interwebs.

There is also the common misconception that highlighting, underlining or enlarged text will get immediate attention.

I know it gets attention from me but often that results in irritation or ignoring said text rather than complying with the desires of the poster. Especially if it is difficult to read. As my eyes get worse though I actually appreciate a bit larger text.
