Are Photobucket images not allowed in this version of the forums? I have been away for a few, *ahem*, years and things are quite a bit different.

I tried adding some images to a post yesterday but got some sort of 'file type is not supported' or some such error. Simple, under 500KB, JPEG images were what I was trying to attach to a post. They would show in the post, but prevented me from posting the post.

Be advised, the current software is going away very soon.

I have success with Picasa, google's image hosting service.

Me too, but photobucket works ok as well as long as you use the image link (the lowest one in the menu) .

When you select the picture in your Photobucket account, there are 4 options for sharing it to the right of the picture. Copy the "Direct" URL and paste it in the popup window when you click on the Image tool in the tool bar.
