Just became a patron. Hope it helps keep this brilliant site up and running. Some more info about me. I've been a ww2 buff for a long time. I'm addicted to the Hardcore History podcast by Dan Carlin. I'm am currently interested in the Eastern Front. Specifically 1944 -1945. And I have a question that I can't seem to answer on my own. Did the Wehrmacht, on the Eastern Front have a way of monitoring outgoing radio traffic to check whether information was being sent to the enemy? I know that in the Netherlands they had the RCD (http://www.cryptomuseum.com/df/rcd/) but I think that was used mainly to check for hidden radio stations which the resistance used to communicate to the Allies. Any help would be much appreciated. best, Nick

Welcome, Nick. I echo Otto's (GroFaz) thanks for becoming a patron. I hope you find an answer to your question. What part of the world do you call home?
Hey there, Thanks for the warm welcome. And for the tips on where and how to post my question best. I'm based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Although I have lived all over the place.
