Staring today at 7 am CST, our sister site WW2Talk started being moved to a new server and migrating from IPB to Xenforo. That site will be closed temporarily to create a static database for the move. This is a big step for that site, as the Patron drive there allowed us to undertake these upgrades. This bodes well for we Rogues at WW2F, as we are going to make this move also.

As a result, we might see a temporary increase in visitors from WW2T while the dust settles at their HQ.

YUT, let's do this thing. I look forward to the new, albeit temporary infusion of new members, perspectives and discussions.

    I don't drink tea.
Makes people look at me in an odd way.

It might not just be the tea though...

It is going well. We have a huge amount of data to move over, so it is taking a while.

Building styles and combing through vast heap of options, user permissions, etc.
Will open as soon as I've cobbled something usable together and the boss says it's OK on the tech side to press the button.

Them guys talk funny and they can't spell for beans....

Would it be in poor taste to refer to WW2T as "Lend Lease".... :)

    Sorted.
    Sort of.
Well... I coloured it in without going over the lines and clicked many buttons.
More to do but it seems to work.

Keep donating, 2F-ers, and you too could have a shiny new system. ;)

It's a brilliant revamp of the site. Onwards and upwards.

Now, let's see the same on this site. Come on chaps and chappesses; time to make a little financial sacrifice for the common good if you haven't already done so.

Help, I am a member of WW2Talk . Cannot sign in. My user name same as here gtblackwell password, last I had , is not recognized.
My email there same as here. I tried to reset and proved I was not a robot, at least by Alabama standards, no avail.

I realize the team is busy and am infinitely patient so no hurry.

I am a descendant of a colonial, work for Anonymous and a friend of Vladimir Putin but have drunk many a pint of Worthington's Best so figure that evens out.....and prefer fish and chips to Big Macs. .....and am a huge Anglophile, no offense to the Scots.

    Any help appreciated,

    Gaines
