OK that's stumped me. What is the plane in this photo & why has it got a cross on it? I believe the cross and white color was to designate it as non hostile, but not enough of it to identify.

Wouldn't have thought so in Burma. Possibly RAF Regiment . British & Indians in Burma had a mix of Mk III & No IV. Found some more IWM pics of Mingaladon. Plane is a Mitsubishi Ki-57Topsy.
