High quality video of this kind of thing is becoming more and more common. My morbid curiosity took hold and I had to watch. They were clearly going to hold the residents hostage until the shooting started. Amazing how chaotic it all got so quickly. Home invasions are another level of evil, I can't say I feel to sorry for him.
Did you notice her husband wandering in after it was all over yawning and scratching his .... errr .......
The little one with the long hair. I haven't seen that they caught the other two thugs yet but one of them pitched himself through the glass door in the kitchen (at 2:11) so he's probably pretty noticeable, if he's still alive. I'll have to find out the name of her restaurant. EDIT: News said she's a restaurant manager.
I didn't know which one it was, but thought it might be him. He didn't look too spiffy going through the door.
It's an interesting video because it illustrates some of those lessons that have come out in research on fatal encounters of this type. She's already passed the 'fight or flight' question; she's going to fight. She's a warrior. Then at the 2 minute mark you see she's so focused on her target that when the other perp passes a foot or so in front of her she doesn't even react - tunnel vision. She only comes back to him afterwards, as an afterthought. Also note that when the rubber hits the road, all three armed intruders choose flight. They're not warriors.
