    OK, there's a load of rubbish on YouTube. But every now and again, something really interesting appears. I've read lots of stuff about Villers-Bocage, all of which refers to the radio interview given by the man immediately after the battle - but I'd never heard it until now......

    I hope YouTube don't delete this - somehow it's interesting to hear the voice of what has now become a near-mythical figure.

    ..hi Martin

    nice find, thanks very much for the heads-up... this is the interview re-transcribed on pages 250-251 of the Heimdal Villers-Bocage tome. Very useful to have access to the original German...good translation...no mention of his gunner whatsoever...
