To read a Japanese pilot's account of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, Wake Island, Guadalcanal and more, search for 'The Miraculous Torpedo Squadron' on Amazon Kindle. Mori gives a fascinating first-person account of his role in these battles and many more.

As riveting as his accounts of the above battles were, for me the most interesting passages in Mori's autobiography were his descriptions of flying in China prior to the attack on Pearl. That and the specialized training they underwent prior to the attack on Pearl.

History in the words of one who lived it.
