I've just posted my annual Xmas and New Year greetings on the ww2talk forum and now hasten to repeat the process here. http://ww2talk.com/index.php?threads/compliments-of-the-season.68537/ I consider myself a lucky man, in that I am privileged in having a ww2 Forum both sides of the world and that I have made friends on both forums. It is true that I spend most of my time on ww2talk, simply because over the years I have got to know many of the members. It is also correct to say that I tend to only nip over to ww2f when ww2talk is down. Despite this, I have always appreciated the fact that both forums have the same boss and long may he continue to serve both communities in the splendid manner that we have come to appreciate. So, dear friends, may I now wish everyone my Compliments of the Season and a Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year. Fond regards Ron
Ron what a thoughtful post. It is interesting this year that Hanukkah.starts on Christmas eve. We are celebrating with Jewish friends Saturday evening and they are having Christmas dinner with us , all is right in our little world. Interestingly none of us are terribly religious but we all thoroughly enjoy each other's good company, and the lighting and food festivals and we try to be thoughtful kind people. I am finishing the second house I have designed for them and am designing a case for their Mezuzah which. will come from the old house. This looks like a simple but great time with friends. The very best Christmas and Hanukkah to everyone here . Gaines
