Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the badges and insignia in this picture and what they mean.

    Thanks!

The second man from the left is an Obergefreiter, and the other three are Gefreiter. That's one (US equivalent) Senior Lance Corporal and three Lance Corporals. I can't really tell what is on their epulattes. It could a regimental or academy emblem.

    Bienvenue.

Possibbly Reichpostbeammte (postal service) of the Heer This has to be confirmed . There is a miniature blue ribbon of the five year service medal on one man's uniform. This would be civil service for the Reich. The Obergefreiter would also be called Spiess by his men (squad leader) .

Just to make sure are you talking about the 3rd man from the left?
