I'm searching for help to the family information about Gunner James Sutherland. He was enlisted in the 181th Bty. - 60 Lt. A.A. Regt. - Royal Artillery and died on 25th December 1941 - age 29 - His service number was 1560313.

The things I know already from Gunner James Sutherland are the following:
    • Died on 25th December 1941 during a blackout in the nearby of Surrey
    • Died with several others during an accident according to the files of the Royal Artillery
    • Buried @ Clyne New Burial Ground
    • Born in Brora
    • Son of John and Catherine Sutherland of Brora
Is there anyone who can give me more information about this accident wich happened on the 25th December 1941. The family didn't received any information of the CWGC or further intel by the Royal Artillery, Pictures or other documents are also welcome.

If you will send me documents in private, in my signature you will find my email adress

    Many thanks for your help
