I've seen a few photos of our members' pets, so I decided to start a thread dedicated to them. This is the mighty Alfie, four and one half pounds of fury. He's sitting in an Iraqi Army (Saddam Era) helmet.
What a lovely thing! I have three of my own, I had four but one was run over by a car a couple months ago This is William of Orange, much sweeter in temper than its namesake! He has a couple of scratches on the nose, but you know how cats are... This is pure threadjacking, but this was started by a Moderator
I certainly DO NOT allow my dog (or Otto) to pass gas in bed. But I do allow "the mighty" Alfie to post!
Attached are our two beasties, Jack and Beau. Jack is the bigger dog. He is a registered English Shepherd. Beau is a registred pound puppy we got so Jack would have someone to play with while we are work and school. He looks like he is mostly Sheltie. The both are good dogs, Jack is the protector and guard dog and Beau is not. Beau is a very sweet little boy and I added the pic of him snarling as a joke. He does that on command or to get a laugh. He is a big ol baby Edit: I didn't realize that I killed the pic quality shrinking down the file size. I haven't figured out how to place them in the message, other than as attachments. L to R Jack and Beau, Beau, Jack
My other two cats are pure blacks and there is no way I can get a decent photo of them. If they have their eyes open and staring at the camera, all I can get in the picture is a fuzzy black hole with two yellow circles. My wife also has a dog, a Maltese Bichon that is so intensely stupid I hate its guts! They go for sale for 900 USD (which I find unbelievable) but I'd pay to get rid of it! It has to be dragged out of the house to pee, otherwise there will be a pool on the floor, and it's always me who'll find it!
Za has hit the nail on the head! Alfie is one of the two twin titans that regulate things around here. The other is the fearsome PanzerPenguin.
Tom, your corgi has a bit more color than mine. Of couse, he is also a bit shorter than our mut "Diesel".
His name is 'Monty' )) and he's growing up quite quickly. Here he is, surveying the battlefield for signs of enemy activity....
I have no pets, I used to have goldfish not so long ago. I travel quite a lot, so it's easier for me to have an electronic alarm system rather than a barking one. Monty is a good looking Mascot.
I "inherited" mine from an elderly couple that were getting ready to go into a Nursing home and mutley could'nt go. He's 15 now and eat up with arthritus,I have to carry him up/down the stairs. One shedding breed for sure, can't keep up with the dog hair.
I had a pet grub that I kept in a glass jar over the past few months but,... NO, silly! It turned into a beetle and I let it go.
Damn, FramerT, I would hate to see one of my pets suffer. If it was suffering with no chance of relief or improvement I'd put it to sleep. I don't say this lightly because I had a cat run over by a car a couple of months ago and she (Artemis) died in my arms. I have three others, but the hole she left won't fill again. Hey, Will, you look different, where did you make the surgery?
Thats a beautiful pic Martin, what a gorgeous animal. I used to have a cat called Sox, she was gorgeous but sadly when my brothers and I left home she had to move out as well. She is being looked after by an old lady around the corner so we see her from time to time. Hopefully I'll be able to get a pet when I get my house sorted, we shall see.
