Cool

I'm looking for a good book on the battle of okinawa. Preferably one with alot of pictures and first person accounts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Ted

Is it just me or does the Pacific board not get alot of postings? Wonder why?

Killing Ground on Okinawa: The Battle for Sugar Loaf Hill by James H. Hallas is well done, although not an overview of the entire battle.
It includes maps and photographs, as well as personal accounts.
