Default Anzac thread for Anzac's at war

G'day all

Just thought i would start a thread concerning the Anzac's since after all they were in ww2 and often enough get over looked for there small part they played at not only tobruk and the rest of North Africa but also stopping the Japanese outside Port Morseby and at the Kokoda trail, so anyone interested in this whether it be other Australians(if there are any), or anyone who wants to discuss the Anzacs at all, this is here.

I think that most people who have some knowledge of WW2 acknoweldge the important role that the Australians played. Not just whilst fighting under their colours but also for the commonwealth!

Don't know an overly lot about ww2 mate, but as a wild guess I would say the posting in the middle east against the turks?
