We talked about the best. We talked about the worst. Now which guns do you think have the most "style". In other words which guns looked the coolest or where the most intimidating, or just plain unique!?
Here is a good listing that I came up with:

1. Erma EMP
2. "artillery" Luger, P08.
3. Mauser R713
4. Type 94
5. StG44
6. Liberator Pistol
7. Type 91
8. Type 99
9. Thompson SMG

Decide which one you think has the most STYLE!

Definetely the StG44-in fact the Germans thought it had so much style that they didn't want to produce to many-it was an absolutely beautiful weapon...

The MP/STG 44 - I'll definitely go along with that.

Honourable mentions :
P08 Luger
Mp38/40
Thompson
PPSh41

It's a bit like car styling, isn't it? All a matter of opinion.
I put the PPSh41 in the list as the others were all so obvious.
But you've prompted me to unwrap my deact '43 dated example and I have to say, it looks pretty mean Steiner in 'Cross of Iron' obviously thought so, too !

Whereas I prefer the 'look' and feel of the 'boring old' No4MkI Enfield . .
We could go on like this for ever !

Any of the cooler ones really. I find most assault rifles and machine pistols rather attractive. In fact the only ones I don't like are the Australian MP (think it was the Owen), the PPSh 41 replacement, the more modern Chinese machine pistols and the "grease gun". I think they all look like junk some kid threw together in a garage when he was bored.

Don't really like the M-16 either. Too hyped, and not too much of a rifle. I like the CETME and G3. The G11 has no style at all, except for those who drive Volvos... ooops, that includes me...

And of course there can be only one machine gun... MG42 for ever!!

Well, my opinion is, that the handguns whith more style, which I find the most beautiful are:

Definately the Luegger, because it is very beautiful, accurate and kind of represent the German army.

And the K-98K which is also a very beautiful arm, accurate, definately classy and with style. It is also full of History and represent as well as the Luegger Germany's military tradition.

I'm gonna say that the Thompson has the most style, partly becasue of it's association with gangsters and mafia before the war. I can see one now in the hand of a man in a pin-stripe suit and fedora. And I agree on the Luger too, a weapon that somehow looks menacing and elegant (I know that sounds pretty gay) at the same time.

I'd have to say the K98, but in reference to that I love my G33/40 Fallshirm rifle. short and sweet and pretty accurate.

Also, dojn;t know if you guys have heard of this as a hand gun, but the WW 1 Beholla, aviaters pistol. .30 cal and an excellent short range weapon. When I've taken this little item out to the range the babes think it's pretty sexy......Ooooooooooh !

I preferr my K-98 Sniper made in 1936. A total and most beautiful of all the Mausers. This particular rifle has an MG-13 Magazine (25 round cap) welded onto it) which was the only way these rifles were made. Only 200--500 were known to be made. Mine is # 261-t.

Langemann :

Which version of the FJR ? plastic or wood stocks and pieces ?

The sniper 98K is probably the cleanest and most beautiful in my opinion as well Carl. What a great handling piece.

Thanks and--alas though--I havent fired it yet. Its such a collectors piece that it would be like chambering 6 rounds in a mint vintage an unfired Colt Single Action Army .45. Once the cylinder turns--it leaves faint scratches in its finish. Question is: Will I ever fire my rifle? As a collector--I scream NO, but as someone who loves to fire weapons--I scream YES. I wonder what'll happen? How will I choose?

I would have to agree with the FG42, as well as the Thompson. However the Thompson A1 (which was mostly used in WWII) didn't have as much style as the early 1920s' models, with the fwd pistol grip and the drum magazine, now that adds style!

But I am surprised that no one has mentioned the gun with the most style of them all!?
The Artillery Luger!!! This gun has it all! The quality and looks of the regular luger, with a menacing 7.9 inch barrel! Tangent rear site, 32 round "snail" drum magazine, and a combination leather holster and wooden stock that fits on the back of the holster!
This gun has it all!! Definately the coolest gun ever made! and I am proud to say that I have a 1914 Erfurt Artillery Luger in my collection!! Now that my friends is pure "STYLE!"

Unhappy

I would have to agree with Andreas-M16A1-not a fan-but the M16A2-beautiful weapon along with the CAR-15/M4 assault rifle.
I get to look forward to the Steyr rifle when i enlist, but that has a bad reputation right now back home. I just want to be a Ranger, or Delta operator and use any weapon i want.
I also personally love the M14 rifle-beautiful weapon...

Thanks Martin and Herr General. I do have a few interesting bits of militaria.

The General knows about a mint set of Rittmeisters shoulderboards that I have that once belonged to Ewald von Kleist when he was in the 5th Uhlan Kavaleris Regiment in ww1. Also, I have a ribbon bar that belonged to Kaiser Friedrich-Wilhelm von Preussen.

Ohhhh your talking about my Mauser....
