I was just kidding, I have a soft spot for the P-40 as well. Now, a Typhoon properly handled, well...

Let's see...
Small arm - StG 44 (very accurate, very stylish), BAR (just cause it RULES!) and Mosin-Nagant 90/30 (It's a classic, aren't it?)
Favorite vehicle - Tiger II (it's very beautiful, eh?), IS-2 (just damn cool!)

My favorite weapon of World War II the mud crunching dogfaces of U.S. 3rd Infantry Division "The Blue and White Devils"!
Friedrich a better what if would be...
What If: The Bismarck and Tirpitz had been deployed the Pacific Theatre to form a duel-axis combined fleet comprising the Bismarck, Tirpitz, Musashi, and Yamato vs. the Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri and Wisconsin?
Talk about a powerhouse performance!

Re: Overall Favorite Weapon
I guess I would have to go with the FP-45 Liberator pistol. It was inelegant in design and dangerous to the user.
Actually I am most fond of the MG-42. It just looked deadly and apparently lived up to its appearances.

A few months back i was fortunate enough to fire a live K98.
My friend who has a firearms licence and owns a scoped K98 (ZF41 scope if my memory serves me right) invited me to go along with him to the local range.
Having never fired a rifle before i can't compare it to any other but it had a hell of a kick on it.
Needles to say i didn't hit the target much

I think the MG42 looks best viewed from the right.
