Did Germany even have any aircraft carriers during the die zweite Weltkrieg? I have never even heard of any or anyone bringing up the topic. ????

Never finished it...And I guess the first plans were to get it going in 1944 but by then it was not needed anymore.

Indeed, there was only one build. The GRAF ZEPPELIN.

But it never sailed.
